Amar Cosic, for showing constant dedication in the Martial Arts. Amar has always set a good example for protocol and good manners. Recently he was telling Master Beaudoin at the end of class that he was not feeling well enough to attend class, but he remembered the 4th Code—”No retreat in battle”, and felt fantastic at the end of class, glad he trained. Such behavior inspires all of us. Tang Soo!!

Anthony Bracco recently attended the Region 8 Championship Tournament in PA. .He was one of approximately 700 competitors and came home as the cup winner for his division. Anthony is a recent Cho Dan Bo, and is in the Instructor Trainee program at the Academy. His daughters are also members of the Academy. We are all proud of your achievements. Tang Soo!

Mr. Kevin Castro has recently been recognized as instructor trainer. He has been working with Master Beaudoin with the advanced kids class. Mr. Kevin has also encouraged his 2 younger sisters to join the Academy. Mr. Kevin is showing true Black Belt spirit by spreading his knowledge other students, and by having other’s enroll in our art. Tang Soo!!!

Mr. Tom Garraffo is one of our Black Belts that has recently received a Distinguished Service Award for showing Bravery in the Line of Duty. Mr. Garraffo works for the State of Connecticut at the Garner Correctional Center as a Correction Officer, and attributes his martial arts training in helping diffuse many situations. We are very proud of Mr. Garraffo for his receiving this award. He shows leadership, humility, and respect at all times. Tang Soo!!

Melissa Hardwick for showing true dedication to the Academy and our art by helping with camp for 2 weeks, assisting with the Tiger and Dragon classes, all while maintaining her own training. Melissa has as much energy as our campers. Fantastic job Melissa. Tang Soo!!!

Lizzy Sobon for showing good spirit attending the test, voluntarily knowing she would not be promoted at this time. She was still to participate to learn more about testing, and to support her fellow students. Good attitude Lizzie—TANG SOO!!!

Matt Lugauskas stepped forward to participate in the “March of Dimes” fundraiser held at Quassy Amusement Park. Matt volunteered to join the Beaudoin Academy Demo Team as they entertained volunteers who supported this worthy cause. Matt represents an excellent example of a community service minded Martial Artist and Academy Family Member. Tang Soo!!

ANDRE STEVENSON He always shows respect, and a great attitude, and for recruiting his 2 step-sisters and cousin to join the Academy. As a Martial Artist we are to help our art grow and Andre has shown this spirit. Tang Soo!! Andre

Congratulations to this years Academy Award winners, Miss Lea—Instructor, Melissa Hardwick—Contribution, Billy Etter—Spirit, The Bracco Family—Family of the Year. A big thank you to all those that came to support our winners.

TIM MCALLEN , for showing true Tang Soo spirit by wanting to participate in Kids Testing December 17th to gain testing experience and lead the testing candidates in their journey to new ranks. Tim showed great spirit, humility, and leadership by doing so. Master Beaudoin was so impressed by this that he gave Tim a medal that was given to him from our Mexico Karate Family. These limited medals were given to Master Beaudoin to be handed out at his discretion for someone that he felt was truly deserving. Congratulations Tim on a job well done. Tang Soo!!
