Nicholas Delevieleuse has been selected as Outstanding Student at Generali School in his class. We are proud to also congratulate Nicholas for achieving this honor. The Academy Instructors and students recognize Nicholas for his excellent example to all. He always gives his best concentration and effort in class. He is enthusiastic to learn, to practice, and willing to share with others. Nicholas always shows proper martial arts etiquette, is polite to his fellow students, and offers to help the new Dragons. Tiago dos Santos recently earned his 8th Gup Orange Belt and attended the Gup Clinic held in Meriden. Tiago showed his enthusiasm for learning the Martial Arts and his support for celebrating Mr. Anthony Bracco receiving his 1st Degree Black Belt, Mr. George Berardi his 2nd Degree Black Belt, and Mr. Dan Farrelly his 4th Degree Black Belt. Thank you Tiago for joining your brother Vitor and with the Tang Soo attitude. Congratulations to all promotees and supporters.

Miss Ellen Paine, 2nd Dan Instructor, has just returned from an exciting trip to China and Korea. Miss Ellen , also known as our Academy Ambassador, for travelling to many parts of the globe, has accompanied Grandmaster Shin with a total group of 24 people on this recent trip to the Orient. Besides climbing the Wall and visiting the Shao Lin Temple and several Martial Arts sites, Miss Ellen experienced different cultures, foods, and situations, of which she is most willing to share. Miss Ellen represents an outstanding example of dedication, perseverance, and spirit. We are proud of Miss Ellen and happy to have her back safely.

Vitor dos Santos for showing true martial arts spirit by replacing his rank with his youner brother Tiago. Vitor has shown a lot of growth in the short time he has been a studnet at the Academy; one example of this is by volunteering to walk his brother to and from class. Vitor we are proud of your changes and growth in the Academy. Tang Soo!!!

Lizzy Lacombe for really showing what Code #3 is about Honor Friendship. Lizzy recently had her very long hair cut to donate to the “Locks of Love”. This is an organization that takes donated freshly cut hair to make wigs for cancer victims that have lost their hair due to treatment. This is a very commendable and unselfish act for Lizzy that shows a true martial artist. We are so proud of you Lizzy. Tang Soo!

Yassine Sahbani in the Beginner Children class—was the only triple Gold Medal Winner at the Karate Kids Olympics. He won 1st place in all three events—Breaking, Form, and Sparring. Besides winning, Yassine showed humility and a great attitude. This was Yassine’s first tournament event. Tang Soo!

Skip Pugliese for showing true dedication to the martial arts as a new student. Skip has been to a test and the Regional Tournament to show support for his fellow students even though he was not testing or competing. Skip also shows respect to all higher rank by bowing , and showing good spirit Great Job Skip. Tang Soo!!!

Chelsea Favale. Our recently promoted Red Belt has diligently practiced with full effort, and Self-Control at the Academy, School, and home. Chelsea also brings this attitude to the Demo Team that she just joined this year. Chelsea sets an excellent example for all students. Congratulations Chelsea. Tang Soo!

All the students that attended our Sparring Clinic. They all showed true dedication to learning the many aspects of sparring techniques, and judging. This clinic came at a good time to help us not only in class but for our upcoming Tournaments. Congratulations to you all for showing good spirit. Tang Soo!!!

Billy Platt III always sets an excellent example in class, home, and school. Billy is always helpful in class with all the students and is always asking the instructors if there is anything he can do to help. Billy is a true example of Code # 3—Honor Friendship, and Respect & Obedience. Wonderful job Billy, keep up the great work. Tang Soo!!

Seth Drewry . After just starting his Martial Arts training, he was injured in a home accident. He had to miss several months of training and just returned. It’s not easy to make a comeback but his parents expressed how much he missed the Academy. We are all proud of Seth. Tang Soo!!
